On the sidelines of the FITUR exhibition which continues in Madrid until January 28, 2024, the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) signed two partnerships, one with the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) and the other with the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT).

The objective is to make 2024 the year of Morocco for both institutions. Note that the annual action plan advocated will affect more than 5,000 members of each Confederation. And this, across all Spanish and Portuguese territories. These operations will improve the perception of Morocco and raise awareness of Morocco, its rich cultural heritage, its tourist destinations, its gastronomy, and all the innovations that can enrich the offer to tour operators.

They will create an environment conducive to exchange between Moroccan tourism professionals and Spanish and Portuguese distributors.

Note that the Portuguese group GEA presented Adel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT, with the trophy for “Best International Destination” for the Portuguese market.
