The Algerian Products Fair Opens in Nouakchott with the Participation of 183 Exhibitors

The 6th edition of the Algerian Products Fair opened Thursday in Nouakchott (Mauritania), with the participation of 183 exhibitors, according to a press release from the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion.

The opening ceremony was chaired by the Algerian Ambassador to Mauritania, Mohamed Benattou, the Mauritanian Secretary General (SG) of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Amadou El-Hadj Gueye, and the general director of the Algerian Society of Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX), in the presence of the two presidents of the Algerian-Mauritanian Business Council, the SG of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), and several business leaders and presidents of Algerian and Mauritanian economic groups, specify the press release, taken up by the APS.

This edition will see the participation of 183 exhibitors from different Algerian economic sectors, adding the same source who stressed that it is part of the implementation of the program of Algerian economic events abroad.

This event is also intended to be an annual economic meeting allowing the populations of Mauritania to obtain Algerian products which are very popular on the Mauritanian market, specifies the source, adding that this was “the fruit of the efforts made by the authorities of the two countries to strengthen economic cooperation and highlight Algerian products and capabilities in various fields.
