The Canadian soccer team, which shares Group F with Morocco, will play the World Cup in Qatar without new jerseys. The team leaders did not believe in their qualifications for the 2022 World Cup and did not start making new jerseys.

Canada was the first team to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup within the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Football (CONACAF), well ahead of Mexico and the United States. But curiously, the Canadian players will not have new jerseys for this international competition. Nike, the company that produces the jerseys for them, has announced that they will wear the same jersey as in the playoffs.

The Canadian national team was not reassured about its qualification for the 2022 World Cup, which did not motivate the leaders to launch the making of new jerseys very early on. “You have to start the order 2 years in advance and the ASC did not expect them to achieve this, so they did not plan new kits in 2022,” journalist Duane Rollins explained in a tweet.

Canada is in its second participation in a World Cup, after Mexico 86. At the Qatar World Cup 2022, it shares Group F with Morocco, Belgium, and Croatia. To prepare, he has scheduled three friendlies against Qatar (September 23), Uruguay (September 27), and Japan (November 17).
