The Italian Embassy in Rabat formally denies the suspension of its relations with the company TLS for the management of visa application services.
In a press release, the Italian Embassy specifies that there has been no suspension of relations between the Consulate General in Casablanca, the outsourcing company TLS. She said that a technical operation has been carried out for the revision of appointments for family reunification visas, in close collaboration with TLS. This operation made it possible to “increase the availability of slots as well as to drastically reduce the wait for the first date available for appointments”, underlined the embassy, specifying moreover that the operations relating to all the other types of visas and appointments already made continue as normal.
As part of the same dynamic, the Italian Embassy intends to put an end to the problem of intermediaries. She indicated that technical operations will be implemented to prevent appointments from being made by intermediaries, as they have no relationship with the TLS company. Since the beginning of the year, Italy has increased the number of visas granted to Moroccans by 84% compared to the same period in 2021.
