Minister for Development, Investment and International Cooperation Zied Ladhari said.
Tourism, industry, agriculture and services have contributed significantly to the country’s economic recovery, the minister said.
According to figures released by the Ministry of Tourism earlier, tourism revenues amounted to 457 million dinars ($182.8 million) in the first three months of 2018.
Tourism revenues were 371 million dinars ($148.4 million) in the first quarter of 2017.
Ladhari pointed out that economic growth in his country rose by 2.5 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2018, compared with 1.9 per cent in the same period last year.
