Tunisia: The Council of Ministers Adopts Several Draft Decree-Laws of an Economic and Social Nature

A council of ministers chaired Thursday, at the Kasbah, by the Head of Government, Najla Bouden, adopted a number of draft decree-laws, according to the Tunis Afrique Presse agency (TAP/official).

A draft decree-law on the assumption by the State of a rate of guarantee installments for exports to African countries

A draft decree-law amending and completing Law No. 64 of July 15, 1999 relating to excessive interest rates.

A draft decree-law amending and completing Law No. 53 of July 11, 2016, relating to expropriation for the public interest.

A draft decree-law amending and supplementing Decree No. 93-942 of April 26, 1993, setting the terms for the development and application of the national plan and regional plans relating to the fight against disasters, their prevention and organization of relief.

A draft decree-law relating to the amendment of Decree No. 2000-462 of February 21, 2000, setting the methods for calculating the overall effective interest rate and the average effective interest rate and their mode of publication

A draft decree-law supplementing decree no. 2939 of 1 August 2014, establishing the list of activities carried out by companies in municipal areas excluded from the benefit of the flat-rate regime provided for by article 44 bis of the code of l personal income tax and corporation tax.

The Ministerial Council also adopted draft decree-laws relating to the fixing of the guaranteed minimum agricultural wage (SMAG), as well as the guaranteed minimum wage for the various trades in the non-agricultural sectors subject to the labor code.
