The Franchise Landscape in Tunisia Is Expanding and Diversifying

The platform WeFranchiz announces the publication of the seventh edition of its ”Franchise Barometer 2023”, an in-depth study on the franchise landscape in Tunisia. 

According to this barometer, nearly 80% of survey respondents demonstrate an increased understanding of the franchise business model, marking a constant increase over the years. Note that the rate of awareness of franchising among Tunisians has tripled since 2016, testifying to the anchoring of this entrepreneurial model in the Tunisian ecosystem.

P More than 80.5% of respondents express solid confidence in the development of local franchises, highlighting the robustness of the Tunisian market.

The preferred sectors for franchise development include textiles, pastries, technological products, cafes, and tea rooms, as well as cosmetic products.

The franchise is attracting strong interest among young higher education graduates, demonstrating its appeal as a promising entrepreneurial model.

These results demonstrate the positive evolution of franchising in Tunisia as a dynamic entrepreneurship model and its impact on the local economy.
