Lamamra, Ayrault inaugurate renovated Algeria’s general consulate in Marseilles

MARSEILLES (France)- Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra and his French counterpart, Jean-Marc Ayrault, inaugurated on Friday the renovated headquarters of Algeria’s general consulate in Marseilles. 

The renovation of the general consulate headquarters is part of the actions undertaken to expand the reception area and fit out the consulate departments to improve the services provided to the Algerian community.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Algeria’s ambassador to France, Amar Bendjama, the consul general of Algeria in Marseilles, Boujemaa Rouibah, the prefect of Marseilles, local elected officials, MPs from both countries and a large crowd of people.

 

Earlier in the day, the Foreign ministers of the two countries took part in the 13th ministerial meeting of “5+5 Dialogue” on the Western Mediterranean.
