Algeria is looking for answers following the death of one of its sons in Belgium during his arrest by the local police.

In reaction to this tragic event, the diplomatic mission calls for transparency on the investigations underway to the Belgian authorities. Indeed,  the Algerian embassy in Brussels has already initiated official procedures with the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yesterday Tuesday, the Belgian media announced the death of Algerian Mohamed Amine Berkane at the Brussels police station on Monday, December 13. According to the Belgian site Le Soir. be, the young Algerian is from Tipasa. Suspected of robbery with violence, he was taken to the police station on Sunday, December 12.
