This Wednesday, January 10, a drone was invited to the training session of the Algerian selection. Called to the scene, the police arrested the pilot who probably wanted to spy on the Fennecs.

As improbable as it may seem, a drone tried to spy on Fennec’s training. The events took place this Wednesday while the Algerian selection, freshly arrived in Ivory Coast, was preparing for its entry into the CAN (January 13 – February 11).

The session which took place in the town of Bouaké was closed to the media. It was logically interrupted by coach Djamel Belmadi after the incursion of the flying machine. This was probably trying to extract information about the tactics of the 2019 African champions.

Called to the scene, the local police intervened to arrest the pilot who had probably not been discreet enough.

Algeria, led by Ismaël Bennacer and Riyad Mahrez, will face Angola for its first match (January 15) in the competition. It will then challenge Burkina Faso and Mauritania.
