Cameroon’s minister of transport, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o, will stay in the capital of Algeria from November 19 to 20, 2017. Indeed, Algeria’s ambassador in Cameroon, Merzak Bedjaoui, delivered the minister an official invitation in this regard.

According to the Algerian diplomat, the meeting between the two countries’ ministers of transport should lead to the signing of a cooperation agreement on the transport sector as well as on meteorology.

“We know a little bit about the fields of interest and the sectors that Cameroon wants to develop. All these can be taken into account by the cooperation agreement that will be eventually signed during this official visit” Merzak Bedjaoui said.

During their meeting, the minister and the diplomat also discussed the opening of a new airline route between Yaoundé and Algiers. The project which was announced two years years is yet to be concretized.
