Barely back home, after several weeks spent in Germany for medical care, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has already established his political roadmap. This weekend, the President unrolled his roadmap, zapping the Moroccan incident, with King Mohammed VI who was caricatured by media.

Returning to the country on Friday, February 12, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune began a series of meetings with political parties the next day. On Saturday, he received the president of the El-Binaa movement, Abdelkader Bengrina, the president of the Front El Moustakbel, Abdelaziz Belaïd, and the president of Jil Jadid, Soufiane Djilali.

Yesterday Sunday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune also received the president of the Movement of the Society for Peace (MSP), Abderrazak Makri, the president of the El Islah Movement, Filali Ghouini, as well as a delegation from the Front of Socialist Forces (FFS) . This was made up of the First National Secretary, Youcef Aouchiche, and the member of the party’s presidential body, Hakim Belacel.

During these interviews as part of the political consultations, it was a question of exchanging views in order to establish a timetable and a roadmap for the short and long term. From the declarations of the party leaders received, it appears that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune wants to implement the program he announced the day after his inauguration.

Thus, President Tabounne plans to dissolve the elected assemblies (APN, APW and APC) and organize early legislative and local elections. In any case, this is what Abdelkader Bengrina, the president of the El Moustakbel Front, Abdelaziz Belaïd and the president of Jil Jadid, Soufiane Djilali said. According to Abdelaziz Belaïd, “the dissolution of Parliament will take place before February 18”.

What seems paradoxical is the head of state throughout this weekend, did not mention the case of King Mohammed VI, which was caricatured by an Algerian newspaper, which portrayed the ruler as a puppet. Which ended up triggering anger in Morocco.
