The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Friday, January 24, received a phone call from his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, who wants to resume work on issues of common interest, including that of the brief.

For his part, the head of state, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, addressed his thanks to his French counterpart, and confirmed his availability to deal with the various cases mentioned, upon his return to Algeria.

Tebboune underwent foot surgery
the presidency of the republic reported last Friday, namely on January 20, that mr. Bouteflika had undergone successful surgery on his right foot, adding that he is expected to return to the country in the next few days, after the agreement of medical staff.

It should be recalled that President Bouteflika returned to Germany on January 10 to treat a complication he had in his foot, following his infection with the coronavirus (covid-19), a press release from the presidency.

The same source stressed that these complications were not serious, noting that he had returned to Algeria on December 29, 2020, to settle urgent matters before treating these complications.

Before his return to Germany, the President of the Republic had said that he would follow country affairs with all those responsible on a daily basis.
