Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune paid a visit on Friday to the “BYD” company, specializing in the production of electric vehicles, located in the city of Shenzhen, in southern China.
Accompanied by the ministerial delegation during this state visit which he began last Monday in the People’s Republic of China, President Tebboune visited the various departments of this company and listened to the explanations of its managers concerning the new technologies used in the manufacture of electric cars.
During the visit, the President of the Republic reaffirmed that Algeria “offers all the facilities and grants many advantages to foreign investors, including car manufacturers, who are welcome in our country”.
And to add “Our country is qualified to be a center of car manufacturing, given its strategic position in Africa and its proximity to Europe”.
