In anticipation of the World Cup which starts in a few days in Qatar, the Moroccan football team will face Georgia in a last friendly match on November 17 in the United Arab Emirates.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced that it has secured a final test for the Atlas Lions ahead of its departure to Qatar. This friendly match against Georgia will therefore serve as a barometer and will allow the national coach, Walid Regragui, to make the final adjustments, before facing Croatia on November 23. The coach will also reveal his final list for November 10.

Morocco, remember, had played two friendly matches last September in Spain against Chile (2-0) and Paraguay (0-0). After this 3ᵉ and last match, the national team will have to go directly to Qatar. The Atlas Lions will reside at the Wyndham Doha West Bay hotel and train at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium, home of Al-Duhail Sports Club.
