The Chinese automobile brand Jetour launched its activities in Algeria on Saturday, May 18, during a ceremony organized by Sarl Revolva, its official representative. The Chinese brand, founded in 2018, offers 5 models with prices between DA 2,999,000 and DA 9,700,000.

Thus, the Jetour X70, a 7-seater SUV, aims to appeal to families with its modern design, comfortable interior space, and technological equipment. It is offered from 2,999,000 DA for the COMFORT version and 3,450,000 DA for the LUXURY version.

The Jetour X70 Plus, a high-end family SUV, offers an elegant design with quality materials and careful finishes. It is available from 4,250,000 DA for the COMFORT version and 4,950,000 DA for the LUXURY version.

The Jetour Dashing, a compact and dynamic urban SUV, is designed for those looking for agile driving and full equipment. It is offered from 4,950,000 DA.

The X90 Plus (7 seats), the flagship of the Jetour SUV range, is available from 5,300,000 DA. The Jetour T2, a rugged compact SUV, is aimed at those looking for a reliable vehicle for adventure. It is available from 9,700,000 DA. With the mujahid license, its price is reduced to 6,500,000 DA.

The Jetour brand dealership network was launched with 4 dealerships in the cities of Algiers, Annaba, Oran, and Sรฉtif, as a first step, to reach, by the end of the current year, 28 dealerships across the national territory, providing vehicle and spare parts sales services as well as maintenance.

Jetour will manufacture its cars in Algeria from the end of 2025

During the launching ceremony, the CEO of Sarl Revolva, Anis Benhamadi, announced that a vehicle manufacturing plant for the Chinese brand Jetour will have to be built in the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj and its first car will roll off the production lines. production in December 2025.

He specified, according to APS, that this factory will be “one of the largest in the region”, adding that Jetour aims to participate in “strengthening Algeria’s position in the regional automobile industry and making it a strategic base for the export of locally manufactured vehicles to other African markets.โ€

The representative welcomed the โ€œcontinued supportโ€ of public authorities and their encouragement to investors for the development of the automobile industry sector in Algeria through the facilities and advantages granted to economic operators in terms of investment.

He subsequently affirmed the automobile brand’s commitment โ€œto respect the new specifications in force and to offer high-quality products to Algerian consumersโ€.

For his part, the CEO of Jetour International, Jack Chen, welcomed the step taken by the company he represents, hoping that Jetour โ€œwill develop rapidly in Algeriaโ€.

Highlighting, at the same time, the historic relations between China and Algeria and the excellence of bilateral ties, particularly on the economic level, Mr. Chen assured that โ€œthe construction of the Jetour Algeria factory will bring the automobile manufacturer to another level of commitment to the Algerian market.โ€

The Jetour launch ceremony was marked by the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Li Jian.
