The US State Department has approved the sale of military equipment to Morocco for a value of 141.1 million dollars

The US State Department announced on Thursday that it had approved the sale of military equipment to Morocco and Australia.

The Foreign Ministry said it should notify Congress today of its decision to approve the sale of military equipment to Morocco for $141.1 million, reports US channel Al-Hurra.

Al-Hurra explained that this agreement would “strengthen the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities of the Moroccan army.”

The State Department also said it was “approving in principle” the sale of 40 Black Hawk helicopters and missile warning systems to Australia for $1.95 billion.
