Tunisia – United States: “Visit Tunisia” the New Project Which Will Allow the Creation of 15,000 New Jobs in the Tourism Sector

The Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhassine, the United States Ambassador to Tunisia, Donald Bloom, and several national, regional, and local executives have launched the “Visit Tunisia” tourism project.

This project, which will promote the revival of the tourism sector, will allow the creation of 15,000 new jobs in the alternative tourism sector within the regions and will increase tourist investment and revenue by 20% and will allow the increase in the number of tourists to reach approximately 11 million by 2026.

“Visit Tunisia” is a project including public-private partnerships, the use of digital innovation solutions, and the promotion of cultural and historical heritage.

Funded by the American government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with an overall budget of 50 million dollars (the equivalent of nearly 144 million dinars, this new project covers a period of 5 years.
