On the occasion of what was considered until then as the date of the “Revolution of January 14, 2011”, several political parties called for demonstrations to challenge the application of the exceptional measures announced by the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, July 25, 2021.
Among these parties, the Ennahdha movement called for demonstrations, this Friday, January 14, 2022, to denounce the overruns and the threat to freedom.
It should be remembered that the Ennahdha movement challenged, first, the measures of July 25, 2021, because essentially concerned by these measures, in particular the freezing of the activities of the Parliament. And most recently, on December 31, 2021, Noureddine Bhiri was placed under house arrest.
