The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired this Monday a meeting devoted to the evaluation of the work of the Algerian Space Agency, and the examination of its current situation on both structural and financial levels, as well as ways to develop its activities.
It was thus decided to provide it with the most modern technical means by the latest technological developments as well as to mobilize financial and human resources trained in cutting-edge specializations by graduates of institutes of higher education in mathematics and the Higher School of Artificial Intelligence, according to a prospective vision, extending until 2040, in cooperation with Algeria’s strategic partners.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, the Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, the Director of Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, the President’s Advisor of the Republic in charge of affairs related to security and defense, the Director General of the Algerian Space Agency, the Head of the Geography and Remote Sensing Department at the People’s National Army.
