On the same evening, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the dissolution of the office of the national swimming federation as well as the dismissal of the director of the National Anti-Doping Agency and the regional youth delegate in Ben Arous.
It will be recalled that Tunisia was sanctioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency for the non-compliance of its legislative texts with international standards. Among the sanctions, is the banning of the Tunisian flag during regional, continental, or world championships, as well as during other events organized by organizations responsible for major events (including the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games).
