The Arab League had gone there on its own initiative, from March 9, 2022, in Cairo, Egypt, to set up a call to help resolve the crisis between Russia and Ukraine.

Things have gotten worse since and the mediation of the Arab League if it sees the light of day, is, therefore, more than ever a necessity. The “consultations between its members, as a prelude to the contacts it intends to undertake soon with all the parties concerned, with a view to reaching a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis”, we learned yesterday Tuesday, March 22 from a diplomatic source Algerian.

Algeria is ready to set in motion its diplomacy and all its connections to “enable the Arab world to contribute actively to the good offices and initiatives aimed at ending the war in Ukraine and resolving this crisis through dialogue and diplomacy”, according to the same source quoted by TSA…

“In its capacity as a member of this contact group and in the spirit of its firm commitment to the strengthening of joint Arab action for which it continues to deploy sustained efforts, particularly in view of the holding of the next summit Arabic, in Algiers on November 1 and 2, 2022, Algeria will work, in consultation with the members of this contact group (Sudan, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates), and in concert with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, to enable the Arab world to actively contribute to the good offices and initiatives aimed at ending the war in Ukraine and resolving this crisis through dialogue and diplomacy,” adds the same diplomatic source.
