Morocco Young Leaders Forum in Dubai

The United Nations Associations of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates are organizing a forum for young leaders from more than 70 countries.

More than 300 young people, including a large delegation from Morocco, will discuss the importance of youth inclusion in decision-making processes as well as current topics on the international agenda such as the environment, cybersecurity, and the Ukrainian crisis, indicating a press release from the United Nations Association of Morocco.

“We are proud to be able to confirm our effective collaboration within this important conference and to be able to bring back the name of our country in an initiative of this level which represents not only a unique opportunity for young Moroccans but also an excellent opportunity for our country. to once again affirm its leadership in the context of the Dubai Expo”, underlined Abderrahmane Chabib, Secretary-General of the United Nations Association of Morocco.

According to the organizers, the participation of diplomatic representatives of around twenty countries, as well as Commissioners General of the various Member States at the Expo, has been confirmed, while that of important personalities is expected. On the sidelines of this forum, which has the participation of the Arab Youth Venture Foundation and the Italian Diplomatic Academy, the Moroccan delegation should visit the pavilion of the Kingdom at the Expo as well as that of the United Arab Emirates, Israel, and Italy.

The event is part of the initiative “The Future We Want” which is held annually at the United Nations in New York in the presence of more than 3,000 young leaders from 140 countries around the world.
