Morocco qualified for the 2021 African Cup of Nations thanks to the 2-2 draw between Burundi and the Central African Republic in Group E of the qualifiers on Friday March 26.
This result makes it possible to guarantee Morocco even though it happens one of the first two places in its group, synonymous with qualifying for CAN 2021, a few hours before its trip to Nouakchott in Mauritania.Morocco has 10 points, Burundi and Mauritania 5 and the Central African Republic 4.

Last of Group E, CAR can still hope to qualify on Tuesday March 30, for the first time in its history, if Mauritania fails to beat Morocco at the 5 th day. Congo and Ivory Coast could join the list of qualified for the competition which will take place in Cameroon next January, if they manage to beat Senegal and Niger respectively.
