The Moroccan police expelled a forensic delegation from the airport of Laayoune this Saturday that arrived in the city of Boujdour, coming from Gran Canaria.

Composed of lawyers Ines Miranda and Flora Ramos, the delegation was expelled from Laâyoune airport by the Moroccan police, reports EFE.

“They took us out of line and separated us. They didn’t let us through. We told them that we were here on a human rights mission with the backing of the United Nations and the Spanish government, ” Ines Miranda told EFE.

And to add that they had then “been pushed on the plane”, affirming that they “will file a complaint about what happened”.

Although Morocco never gives written orders for these expulsions, it usually justifies them later, on the grounds that they are visits that take place “with an agenda hostile to Morocco” or because they do not. were not scheduled according to the Moroccan authorities.
