Morocco is one of the most attractive countries in the world for large fortunes who want to invest to grow their business, reveals a study by the firm Henley & Partners.

Most billionaires in the world choose Morocco as a destination to invest after leaving certain countries, particularly Asian ones, indicates this study on “the exodus of fortunes”, which specifies that 100 “wealthy people” have set up their businesses in the kingdom in 2022 and another 100 are expected to arrive in 2023.

Australia is at the top of this world ranking with the installation of 3,800 super-rich in 2022 and a forecast of 5,200 in 2023. It is followed by the United Arab Emirates which welcomed 5,220 wealthy in 2022 and could receive 4,500 in 2023.

In contrast, countries like China, India, the United Kingdom, the Russian Federation and Brazil have lost many billionaires, the report notes, noting that Egypt, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria have also been affected by this exodus of large fortunes which is expected to increase in 2023.
