Is Larbi Tadlaoui about to become the next Mohsen Fikri?

Court of First Instance of the city of Tangier postponed her decision on the Moroccan investor Larbi Tadlaoui, entrepreneur of ยซAtlantic Beach Paradise Resortยป file, until November 3rd, after the Interior Minister Mohamed Hassad and Mohammed al-Yacoubi Wali of Tangier were unable to attend the court.
Larbi Tadlaoui is still under arrest despite the lack of any follow-up by customers, who did not receive residential apartments, due to factors related to the delay of government interests in the finishing work linked to the region where there is a project to the national grid potable water and liquid disinfection and other services, which should be provided for housing permits.

An official from the attorney’s office supervisor of the confessed that Larbi Tadlaoui is about to be sacrificed since he is still in custody in Tangierโ€™s prison for more than eight months due to delays in the delivery of housing units due to factors beyond his control.

According to the lawyer, the young businessman Tadlaoui was able to record significant progress in the construction works (as evidenced by the local follow-up committee and the government, which was referred to in the investment agreement for the month of April 2015), before he faced a series of technical obstacles, including the complete absence of basic infrastructures (water, electricity) as reported by top 5 lawyer firm Norton Rose.
The Norton Rose Fulbright report states that the Amendis & Veolia did not abide by their commitments, in terms of creation of infrastructure in the area where the project was held, contained in the Convention. An agreement was signed in 2007 between the real estate company and the Moroccan government, which granted the company a period of 36 months to complete the project.
