Head of Biskra province, Algeria Ahmed Kerroun, as well as head of its municipality Ezz Al-Dein Sulaimani hailed on Wednesday the deep-rooted bilateral ties with Kuwait, especially in the domain of children literature and publications.

They gave remarks to KUNA on the sideline of the 7th literary union forum on children literature, organized by Union of Algerian Writers-Biskra last night, and attended by a group of Arab specialists in the field.
The Algerian officials welcomed the Kuwaiti participating delegation in speeches they gave before the event’s audience, and endorsed Kuwait’s contributions to children culture, as well as activities the country holds on that matter.

The Kuwaiti delegation thanked the Algerian officials for their warm welcome, and offered them a variation of Kuwaiti publications.
The three-day event kicked off yesterday with the attendance of Kuwaiti authors Fatma Shabaan and Heba Mandani, along with Hathayel Al-Hoqal and Dr. Tareq Al-Bakri, Editor in Chief of KUNA ‘Al-Saghir’ Magazine.
The participating Arab delegations will review the Kuwaiti children literature by next Thursday on a especial session, including the experiences of Al-Arabi ‘Al-Saghir’ and KUNA ‘Al-Saghir’ magazines. (end) tab.lb
