Subject to arrest warrants, the 5 Algerian stewards wanted by French justice for their involvement in a vast international network of thefts of jewelry and mobile phones have not even been suspended or sanctioned by the company Air Algeria, reveals the Algerian site Algeria Part.

After being heard about their complicity with the perpetrators of a series of thefts of jewelry and cellphones in the city center of Rennes, in Brittany, in the northwest of France, these stewards were released without being worried by Algerian judicial authorities, continues the same source.

The Air Algeria company, which employs them, was content to exclude them from flights linking Algeria to France. No other disciplinary measure has been adopted or decided as these stewards are involved in a vast international scandal of theft and embezzlement of precious objects.

According to information communicated by the French justice system to AFP, the thefts were committed “by wandering foreign minors or young adults” and the aircraft was transported to Algeria thanks to the complicity of stewards and an Algerian official. whose identity has not been disclosed by the French judicial authorities.

According to Algérie Part, these stewards were spared by the general management of Air Algeria following the recommendations of its chief of the Air Algerian cabin crew, whose brother-in-law is among the stewards sought by French justice.

This explains its passivity in the face of this unprecedented scandal which seriously tarnishes the reputation of Air Algeria.
