Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal highlighted Saturday, in El Oued, the importance to promote investment in tourism in order to contribute to the development of national economy.
“We must work on promoting investment opportunities in the sector of tourism, as a promising lever of development able to contribute to the country’s economic development,” said Sellal in a meeting with the representative of the civil society at the end of his working and inspection visit to the province of EL Oued.
In this regard, the Prime Minister said that tourism projects positively impact the country’s economic situation, particularly in the “difficult” financial situation facing the country, hence the need to face this situation through an economic approach able to give momentum to local development, thus promoting national economy.
Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal paid a working and inspection visit to the province of El Oued, Saturday, where he inaugurated and visited a series of socio-economic projects in the sectors of agriculture, transport, youth and sports, health, housing, vocational training and tourism before chairing a meeting with the civil society.
