Muammar Gaddafi’s daughter Aisha Gaddafi gave a moving testimony and paid tribute to Algeria in a letter posted on social media.
Aïcha Gaddafi, a refugee in the Sultanate of Oman, with her mother, recounted the last moments which preceded the flight of the family of the former ruler of Libya to Algeria, reveal that when her family was hunted down by the forces Nato, supported by the Libyan militiamen, Muammar Gaddafi had asked his wife and children to take refuge in Algeria.

“We told our father that he had the last word and that we would follow him wherever he decided to go. after a long sigh: go to Algeria, in fifty years, the Algerians have never hurt us! in Algeria, you will live free, Algeria will not hand you over to nato, and nato will not dare to violate Algerian territory to get you back there, i am sure! Algeria will not hand you over to the International Criminal Court or to any state or institution that claims you! Algeria will never forsake you! She wrote.

Aïcha Gaddafi decided to post this testimony in the wake of the latest developments that have taken place in the Maghreb region, stating, “I now understand all these attacks directed against Algeria”.

“I decided to make this testimony about my father public today especially, because I cannot forget what this country has done for my father and for my family, when I see a relentlessness of the Gulf monarchs, d ‘Israel, the united states and France against Algeria,’ she concluded.
