Tunisian Foreign Minister othman Jerandi received yesterday, Friday, December 15, 2020, the Algerian Ambassador to Tunisia, Azzouz Baalel, at the headquarters of his department.
a statement released by the Tunisian foreign affairs department reveals that, “during this interview, othamne jerandi affirmed that Tuniso-Algerian relations cannot be affected by unofficial positions which do not commit Tunisia in any way”.
This interview comes in the wake of the declarations of the former Tunisian foreign minister Ahmed Unaies who criticized Algeria’s role in the Sahara affair and normalization with Israël.
