World Cup 2022 Qualifiers: Morocco Qualified for the Third and Final Round

After Senegal, Morocco validated its qualifying ticket for the third and final round of qualifying for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Atlas Lions validated their ticket after the victory over Guinea, 1-4. With the fourth victory in a row, Vahid Halilhodžić’s men got their ticket without getting tired.

It must be said that Morocco has played three matches in seven days because of the unapproved stadiums of its opponents. After beating Guinea Bissau 6-0 and 0-3, Morocco inflicted a heavy defeat on Guinea 4-1.

The Atlas Lions thus achieve a clear round in four days which allows them to qualify because being assured of finishing at the head of Group I. Morocco has 12 points while Guinea Bissau has only 4. Guinea and Sudan total 3 and 2 points respectively.
