Like what was put in place in 2018 for Russia, Morocco is establishing an exceptional system to allow supporters to attend matches in Qatar. The price of a return ticket is 5,000 DH including tax.
The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and Royal Air Maroc are setting up a flight program between Casablanca and Doha to allow Moroccan fans to travel to Qatar to cheer on the national team during their participation in the 2022 World Cup.
The national company will mobilize flights during the period of the first round which will take place from November 20 to December 4. In addition to its daily and direct scheduled flights between Casablanca and Doha, Royal Air Maroc will add, during this period, additional direct flights with a total capacity of 3,000 seats at the subsidized fixed price of 5,000 DH including tax (round trip) in economy class.
The offer is intended exclusively for match-access ticket holders. It will be offered for sale in the coming days through the commercial agencies of Royal Air Maroc.
The flights will be operated by Dreamliner long-range aircraft, the Boeing 787-8 and the Boeing 787-9, with respective capacities of 274 and 302 seats.
As the national carrier, Royal Air Maroc is once again mobilizing to support the national team and the Moroccan supporters throughout the decisive phases of qualification for the various international competitions, as it has already done during the Cup Russia World Cup in 2018 and World Cup qualifying matches in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ivory Coast, among others.
According to reliable sources, two formulas are offered, at the same price:
– round trip to see a given match, with return after the match.
– go then stay on site to attend two or three matches. In this case, accommodation is not included.
In other words, after seeing a match, you can stay at your own expense and return to Morocco after the second or third match.
