Tunisians among the world’s most unhappy people, according to Gallup

According to the latest survey conducted by the American consulting company Gallup, Tunisians are among the ten most tense and saddest peoples in the world.

The results were unveiled in a survey that included 145 countries in 2019, in which more than 175,000 adults participated.

According to the results of the recently published “Gallup Global Emotions 2020” report, 46% of Tunisians surveyed (1,000 people) said they had experienced the five negative feelings, in response to the following question: “Have you been exposed to the feelings? following yesterday: emotional pain, tension, sadness, anxiety and anger? ”

Eighth in the world, Tunisia is in the top 10 of the most unhappy peoples out of 145 countries concerned by the study, with two other Arab countries, namely Iraq, which tops the rankings and Lebanon (5th).

The top 10 include Iraq, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Chad, Lebanon and Sierra Leone, Guinea, Tunisia, Iran and Togo.
