Tunisia will work, through cooperation between the Ministries of Tourism and Culture, in addition to the regions and the various structures concerned, to include the Jugurtha Table in the UNESCO World Heritage List, said Tourism Minister Mohamed Moez Belhassine. The Minister pointed out, during a visit made on Friday to the region of Kalâat Sinène (governorate of Kef), that the Table of Jugurtha was full of natural and historical monuments which allowed it to be included in the list of the UNISCO, provided that Tunisia succeeds in developing a coherent dossier.

A music concert will be organized, from September 23 to 25, 2022, at the Jugurtha Table, by the Culture and Development Association, in partnership with foreign festivals specializing in techno music and world music.

Belhassine announced the inclusion of the municipality of Kalâat Snène in the list of tourist municipalities after the completion of the technical file, which will allow to benefit from the interventions of the Fund for the protection of tourist areas.

The minister pointed out that his department will work, during the next period, to encourage initiatives aimed at changing the vocation of all regions and all governorates into sustainable tourist destinations throughout the year. same source.
