(APPS) – The President of the House of Representatives of Morocco, Rachid Talbi El Alami, is expected in Dakar on Wednesday for a three-day official visit, we learned from an official source.

During his stay, Mr. El Alami will deliver a speech to the Senegalese deputies meeting in plenary. He will also be received in the audience by the President of the Republic, according to a press release.

The President of the House of Representatives of Morocco will at the same time sign with his Senegalese counterpart, Amadou Mame Diop, “a memorandum of understanding” and “will visit with his delegation some cultural sites in Senegal”, underlines the source.

She adds that ”the visit of the Moroccan parliamentary delegation will be an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the two countries, marked by centuries-old ties and multifaceted cooperation in which the economy is held, in addition to the closeness of political ties, a very important place.

Senegal is the third recipient of Moroccan foreign direct investments in sub-Saharan Africa and Morocco’s second client in West Africa.
