The city of Marrakech has just set up a new project in the very center of the medina, not far from the mythical square of Jemaâ El Fna. Called Medina Mall Marrakech, this shopping center opened its doors on June 4 and thus enriches the shopping and leisure offer of the ocher city which welcomes nearly 40% of tourists who visit Morocco.

The Medina Mall Marrakech expects to welcome 3 million visitors a year by offering them a new way to appreciate the ocher city. The new shopping center extends over an area of ​​750 m² and has set itself the task of participating in the promotion of Made in Morocco and local know-how. Behind this large-scale project hides the young Samy Mabrouki, an entrepreneur who “nourishes an unlimited tenderness and affection for the medina of Marrakech, its inhabitants, its ramparts, its alleys, its scents, and its colors and is committed to contributing to its modernization while respecting what constitutes its authenticity”.

On this subject, Samy Mabrouki declared: “The Medina Mall is a project whose ambition is to offer visitors a new way of shopping in the medina of Marrakech. We give paramount importance to our Moroccan cultural heritage, the Medina Mall Marrakech was designed with a view to highlighting this wealth and bringing shopping back to life”. The mall covers an area of ​​1,250 m² and has a total of 34 stores whose areas vary between 19 and 110 m², as well as three restaurants.

Several Moroccan brands have chosen to settle there such as Natus, Heritage trading, Andalocy, Jakana, Atlas Legacy, Idizman, Vivify, Menara Bijoux, Bidda rugs… constituting a complete offer including jewelry, leather goods, perfumery, pastry, fashion, and crafts.

The realization of this project required an envelope of 25 million dirhams. Also, 90 direct and 130 indirect jobs are created.
