Preparing to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Banque de Tunisie et des Emirates (BTE) has just moved into its new headquarters located on Boulevard Béji Caïd Essebsi, the main avenue of the northern urban center of Tunis.

The building, erected on a plot of land with an area of 2500 m2, is designed in an architecture combining modernity, aesthetics, and functionality, thus offering good reception conditions for customers and working conditions for staff. It rises on six floors, covering 1500 m2, and includes, in addition to offices and meeting rooms, a multipurpose room and a business center. It also houses the Bank’s central branch in an attractive setting.

A smart building, the new BTE headquarters is fully connected to the digital network. Respectful of the environment, it is equipped with an energy-saving device allowing the modulation of air conditioning and lighting and ensuring their low consumption.

Established in 1982 within the framework of bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, BTE employs 411 permanent employees and relies on a network of 30 agencies established in Greater Tunis and the interior of the country.
