The car manufacturer Stellantis opened its first factory in Algeria, in the city of Oran, on Monday, December 11. Dedicated to its Italian brand Fiat, its production capacity of 50,000 units should almost double by 2026, on the condition that the Algerian state does not turn its back once again.

Located near Oran, the factory will assemble the Fiat 500 hybrid, with a production capacity of 50,000 units at launch and 90,000 units by 2026.
