H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, yesterday concluded her visit to Tunisia by visiting Vermeg Company.
Sheikha Moza was welcomed by Dr Anouar Maarouf, Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy, Badreddine Ouali, President of the Smart Tunisia programme and Chairman of Vermeg, and Elyes Jeribi, Executive Director of the Smart Tunisia Programme.
Sheikha Moza met with young people and recent graduates who are benefitting from the Smart Tunisia Programme and the Tunis Ta3mal portal. Silatech has supported Smart Tunisia since its inception in an effort to attract foreign investments to the ICT sector and create jobs for Tunisian youth.
Her Highness left the country after the visit.
Sheikha Moza was seen off upon departure at Tunis Carthage International Airport by the Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Soad Alloomi, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Majdouline Cherni.
