The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad participated in the coordination meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers which took place on Monday, September 18, 2023, as part of the work of the high-level segment of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which takes place from September 18 to 23 in New York.
According to the press release published on the ministry’s Facebook page, Nabil Ammar stressed the importance of unifying Arab positions on the various issues on the agenda of the session, to face current and emerging challenges. He called for intensifying efforts to address issues related to the region and find solutions to Arab causes, particularly the just Palestinian cause. In this regard, he recalled Tunisia’s firm and principled position in its support for the struggle of the Palestinian people, which is part of our country’s adherence to the principles of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy. and the values of justice and freedom.
