The consumer price index (CPI) recorded, year-on-year, an increase of 8.3% during the month of September 2022, according to the High Commission for Planning (HCP). For non-food products, the variations range from an increase of 0.1% for “Health” to 12.9% for “Transport”, specifies the same source.

On a monthly basis, the CPI increased by 1% during the month of September 2022, following the 1.7% increase in the food products index and 0.6% in the non-food products.
