Spanish newspaper “La Razón” reported that Morocco is preparing to receive 24 American Apache AH-64E attack helicopters after the kingdom earlier reached a deal with the United States.

The Spanish newspaper reveals that the Royal Armed Forces are preparing to welcome this type of attack helicopters in the coming months. The reports highlighted several military advantages offered by the AH-64E Apache helicopter, which will strengthen the defensive capabilities of the Moroccan army, helping to identify risks and address regional and international threats.

Reports indicate that “the new Apache helicopter has technologies to improve the accuracy of target designation, day and night, and has the ability to control drones, using an engine considered the best for aircraft military”.

The AH-64E Apache, whose production by Boeing began last year, is one of the best attack helicopters in the world, comparable only to certain Russian models such as the Mi-28 Havoc or the Ka-52 Alligator .

The same sources add that the necessary preparations are underway at the Khouribga military base to accommodate the Apache squadrons, which will be armed with Lockheed Martin AGM-114L/R Hellfire type air-to-ground missiles, as well as missile groups. advanced laser-guided missiles from BAE Systems, and more than 5,000 70 mm missiles and Raytheon AIM-92H Stinger type air-to-air missiles, in accordance with the purchase contract concluded between Morocco and the United States.
