Sales of new cars in Morocco picked up again in the first quarter of this year, defying the adverse effects of the pandemic with double-digit growth.

Several brands have seen their models gain ground, such as Dacia, a historic bestseller in the “passenger cars” (PC) segment, which sold 11,349 units (+ 25.1%) or Renault and Hyundai with 5,133 and 3,140 registrations.

The American dealership Ford, whose new Kuga was voted Car of the Year 2021 in Morocco, improved its sales by 75.71% to 1,172 units, while Citroën and Fiat managed to sell 1,760 and 1,258 cars respectively, in growth of 11.25% and 7.16%.
