Tens of thousands of micro-enterprises, created within the framework of the employment aid mechanism (Anade) (ex-Ansej), have not been able to repay their loans. The State has decided to study their files to reimburse them or relaunch their activity.

Indeed, there are 45,986 files received by the Credit Guarantee Fund from August 26, 2020 to June 30, 2022, according to the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Micro Enterprises, Nassim Diafat. These micro-enterprises accumulate a debt of 96 billion dinars, specifies the minister.

Intervened during the first edition of the “Forum of micro-enterprises” which began Saturday in Algiers, Diafat recalled that 26,876 files representing 43 billion dinars were studied during 52 meetings, which allowed the reimbursement of more than 17 billion dinars, i.e. 10,142 files accepted.

All the legal proceedings initiated against certain project promoters who have not reimbursed their credits have been suspended for the past two years, noted Mr. Diafat, affirming that this is an initiative taking place in the application to the program of the President of the Republic and his instructions.

The sector also worked to relaunch the ANADE system and support micro-enterprises in difficulty by reimbursing their debts or relaunching their activities on a case-by-case basis.

In addition, more than 16,000 micro-enterprises have been financed by the National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (ANADE), since January 2020, said Nassim Diafat.

The Industry sector is at the top of the activities financed by ANADE

The Minister specified that 16,327 micro-enterprises were financed and no less than 38,243 jobs were created in several sectors.

The industry sector leads the activities financed with a total of 4,704 projects (28.81%), followed by the services sector with 2,726 projects financed (16.70%), then agriculture with 2,469 projects (15, 12%), he said.

2,210 projects of liberal functions were financed up to 13.54% against 1,853 projects in the field of Building and public works (11.35%), adds Mr. Diafat.

The number of project leaders in the first half of 2022 amounted to 24,865 files, of which 15,520 were accepted by the project selection, financing, and validation commissions, while 5,201 micro-enterprises completed the financing measures, he recalled.
