British company Altus has discovered high-grade copper and silver at its sites. This is what emerges from an exploration of recognition in his projects in Morocco

The Morocco Mining Royalty Company’s Azrar, Izougza and Tata projects are located in existing and historic copper and silver mining districts, and cover an area of 252 km², in the Western Anti-Atlas from Morocco. These districts are entirely in the hands of Altus’ subsidiary, Aterian Resources. The excavation related to the Izougza project returned up to 8.37% copper in the breach, and the Azrar project returned up to 3.41% copper and 56 g / t silver. That of the Tata project made it possible to return up to 0.24% of copper in the sediments, says Challenge.

These first excavations for the Azrar, Izougza and Tata projects have led to “excellent results,” said Altus Strategies Managing Director Steven Poulton, noting that “there is a potential for copper/silver mineralization in sediments. stratiform and brecciated contact on the sites.” In addition, evidence of historic artisanal hard rock mining discovered at the sites has been mapped by the company. At the same time, the company is currently exploring the recently awarded Jafra, Tiddas and Amsa sites. Thus, the company Altus in Morocco has a total of ten “highly promising” projects, bringing the area to 675 km².
