Financial System Reform: Germany Grants 1.25 Billion Euros to Morocco

During a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, a financial agreement was signed under which Germany granted a loan of €1.25 billion to Morocco to support the third phase of financial system reforms in Morocco,

At the headquarters of her department, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia FETTAH, chaired, on December 14, the signing ceremony of two financial cooperation agreements between Morocco and Germany.  

 The total amount of the loan granted amounts to approximately 1.25 million euros. A loan contract of 50 million euros was also formalized, intended specifically to finance the third phase of the ambitious project entitled “Support for reforms of the financial system in Morocco”.

This signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Robert Dölger, and the Director of the KFW Office in Rabat,  Janne RAJPAR.
