However, the Algerian authorities had announced the official resumption of the import of new vehicles. And this, for the end of the current month of January. Or January 2022. However, the latter is coming to an end. Without any novelty as to the specifications governing the new terms which would frame future imports.

Moreover, the reform of the specifications in question governing this activity is a matter for the top of the hierarchy. This is the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Thus, this reorganization is based on three main lines. Namely, segment imports according to the type of vehicle, facilitation, and streamlining of procedures. And finally, the removal of blockages. Importing cars into Algeria: the legislation is long-awaited  

In this context, the president of the Consumer Protection Association (APOCE) spoke out on this subject. In this regard, Mustapha Zebdi claimed that he does not know more than the rest of the citizens. This was reported by the same news site. 

In addition, the President of APOCE stressed the obligation to remedy this situation related to the importation of cars. By the way, Zebdi let it be known that it’s been long enough so far.
