Cuba To Increase Exports of Health Services to Algeria

Cuba will increase the export of health services to Algeria, said yesterday the two governments at the end of official talks that envisaged the increase of bilateral economic and trade ties.

 

Algerian Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Mokhtar Hasbellaoui and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (Mincex) Rodrigo Malmierca closed the 21st session of the Intergovernmental Commission, the specialized working period of which took place from January 25th to 29th.

As they assessed, the meeting was an important opportunity to increase and vary the economic ties between the two countries, which have historical ties of solidarity.

According to Malmierca and Professor Hasbellaoui, the goal is to raise the economic-commercial exchange to the level of ‘the excellent political relations’ between the two States.

That is the willingness of President of Cuba Raul Castro and President of Algeria Abdelaziz Buteflika, said sources in the meeting, which concluded with the signing of new agreements.

At the end of the meeting, Malmierca and Hasbellaoui signed the minutes of the 21st Session of the Intergovernmental Commission, which includes ‘new horizons’ opened to bilateral ties.

Hasbellaoui also signed with his Cuban counterpart Roberto M
